De Anza College Student Nurses Quarter 4

De Anza College Quarter 4 Student Nurses were impacted by their dear classmate and friend, Cameron Lamela, who tragically passed away in November 2019. Together they collected funds in his memory and decided in light of the recent social injustices that have come to local and national prominence that they would like to set up a scholarship for $1,500.00 that would be offered to a De Anza College Umoja student.

Cameron Lamela embodied this quote. As our classmate, he inspired, encouraged, listened and offered advice when needed, never asking for anything in return. Through Cameron’s memory, we continue to promote the values and attributes that made him a powerful force in our lives.
