Friends of Gisela Zebroski

Gisela Zebroski, longtime Foothill Commissioner, passed away on September 30, 2021. A Foothill alumna from the late 1960’s, Gisela went on to San Jose State where she graduated with a baccalaureate in Russian and psychology. In her lifetime, she published three books: “The Baroness”, “Mephisto Waltz” and her memoir, “Selfie Sideways”.

Gisela was involved with the Foothill Commission for more than 30 years and dearly loved Foothill. She co-chaired the Foothill Commission for the past several years and led fundraising efforts for various events. Vibrant and welcoming she cared for Foothill students and her fellow Commissioners. She will be deeply missed. In her honor the Foothill Commission is sponsoring a scholarship for transfer students.
