Iris and Hal Korol

Susan Korol Pey passed away in 2016 at 52. She was a wine making pioneer in Marin and master sommelier. After a friend died of breast cancer, Mrs. Pey became one of the leading fundraisers for the Breast Cancer Fund. Passionate about women’s reproductive rights, she lobbied for the National Association for Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League. Susan’s zest for life, caring nature, and warm engaging presence will be dearly missed.

Hal and Iris Korol, Susan’s parents, have lovingly donated scholarship funds in her honor.
