John and Susan Swensson

This scholarship was created in loving memory of Samantha Swensson. John Swensson, retired Lt. Col. of the US Army is also retired from De Anza College where he was a long-time English professor and served as the Dean of Language Arts. Still involved at De Anza, John serves as a special assistant to the President and with De Anza’s Global Partnership program.
