Ray and Thelma Epstein

This scholarship was created by Ray and Thelma Epstein who are devoted to education. Thelma passed away in 2011. She devoted her life to family, teaching, community service and political activism. A long-time De Anza U.S. History professor, she also served as the Vice President for the Foothill-De Anza Faculty Senate. Ray Epstein is a member of the De Anza Commission and weekly volunteer to the Foothill-De Anza Foundation. When Thelma passed, many friends and family also donated to the scholarship.
