Foothill College - Global Experiential Learning Ambassador Scholarship for the Spring 2027 Buenos Aires Program

Description: The Foothill Office of Global Experiential Learning is offering multiple $1,000-$2,000 scholarships in the form of a program fee reduction (no direct payment to the student) for students accepted into the Buenos Aires program. The purpose of this funding is to support active Foothill students who need some financial support to be able to enroll in this program, and who are interested in becoming Foothill Ambassadors for Global Experiential Learning.

Eligibility: All Buenos Aires program applicants who identify financial need and demonstrate a commitment to fulfilling the expectations of the award are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to current Foothill students. In order to receive the award, applicants must have completed their Buenos Aires application by the scholarship application deadline and paid the program deposits (to apply please visit https://foothill.edu/global/buenosaires-2027.html). Scholarship award will be contingent upon acceptance into the program.

Expectations: Awardees of this scholarship must be willing to serve as a Foothill Global Experiential Learning ambassador. This involves sharing their experiences abroad via blogs, pictures, and/or video (at least once a week) on social media, provide a testimonial at the end of their program (to be shared on the Foothill College and/or Foundation website), and be willing to attend on occasion (in person or remotely) outreach events for future Global Experiential Learning programs.

Selection process: Applications will be reviewed by a Foothill Global Experiential Learning Scholarship Committee. All applicants will be notified of results via email at the conclusion of the process.
