MPMC AUXILIARY/FOUNDATION FINANCIAL AID SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Each year, the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center Auxiliary awards scholarships to individuals who live in San Mateo County and who are pursuing a career in healthcare. In partnership with the Mills-Peninsula Foundation, the Auxiliary awards multiple scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
Examples of healthcare careers include, but may not be limited to:
● EMT
● Hospital Administration
● Laboratory
● Nursing
● Pharmacy
● PT/OT
● Radiology
● Ultrasound/MRI
The application window for scholarships to be awarded for this year is open from March 15 through May 15. Completed application packets will be accepted through May 15. Awards are based on the following criteria: past academic performance, participation/leadership in school and community activities, work experience, a personal statement including career and educational aspirations and goals, and any unusual personal or family circumstances. Recipients must demonstrate financial need. They must also be a resident of San Mateo County unless they are an employee of Mills-Peninsula Medical Center.
