CFMA Silicon Valley Chapter Scholarship Application 2022
The Construction Financial Management Association Silicon Valley Chapter (“CFMA-SV”) is offering five scholarships to eligible students for the 2022-2023 academic year. CFMA-SV awards scholarships to assist students with the cost of their books, classes, housing, tools and supplies needed to further their education.
Scholarship Amounts:
$10,000, $8,000, $5,000, $5,000 and $3,000
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
A. Candidate Group A – CANDIDATES WITH A CFMA AFFILIATION: If you are a member of CFMA-SV, or your parent is a member of CFMA-SV, or your parent is employed by the same company that employs the CFMA-CV member, then the following applies:
YOU MUST:
1) As of the fall 2022 semester, be enrolled full-time in an accredited junior college, college or university;
2) Your or your parents’ residence, OR your college or university, must be located in following counties: Santa Clara, San Mateo, Monterey, Alameda, San Benito, or Santa Cruz
3) Have maintained a cumulative 3.0 GPA for the past two years.
B. Candidate Group B – Applicants with no CFMA-SV AFFILIATION MUST:
1) Satisfy requirements 1 through 3, above, AND
2) Presently have an intention to pursue a career in or closely related to an accounting, finance or construction-related field (e.g. engineering, architecture, landscape, sustainability, etc.)
