DASG Silvia Chalista Memorial Scholarship

Silvia Chalista Memorial DASG Scholarship Sponsored by De Anza Student Government (DASG)
Description:

Silvia Chalista was a De Anza student from 2018 to 2020. During her time at De Anza, she worked as a Senior Tutor in the Student Success Center, served as the Treasurer of the PERMIAS Indonesian Students Organization, and interned for the DASG Finance Committee. Despite her many responsibilities, her friends remember her for maintaining a vibrant social life. Just before completing her AA degree in Applied Mathematics and transferring out to her dream university, Silvia was involved in a fatal car crash that ended her life. She was extraordinary in more ways than one, teaching all of us what it meant to live life to the fullest. Her giving nature, bubbly personality, and contagious smile will forever remain in our hearts. The Silvia Chalista Memorial DASG Scholarship was made in her honor.
