Foothill Rando Family Endowed Scholarship for EOPS Students

Description:
These scholarship awards have been generously donated by Ann Rando, a Los Altos resident, Foothill Commissioner for many years, and a wonderful supporter of Foothill.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 units at Foothill College at the time of the scholarship deadline.

2. Applicant must be a current EOPS (Extended Opportunity Program and Services) student at Foothill College in good academic standing.

3. At the time of the scholarship deadline, applicant must have completed at least 24 units at Foothill College.

4. Applicant’s cumulative Foothill GPA must be a 2.80 or higher.

5. Applicant cannot have received an EOPS Scholarship in the past.

6. Applicant must either enroll in at least 6 units at Foothill for Fall quarter of the next academic year, OR transfer from Foothill to a four-year college or university for Summer or Fall of the next academic year.

Special Instructions:
1. Three scholarships are available: 2 for continuing EOPS students ($500 each) and 1 for a transferring EOPS student ($1,000)

2. If you are selected as a recipient of this scholarship and will be transferring from Foothill to a four-year college or university for Summer or Fall of the next academic year, you must provide a copy of your letter of acceptance or proof of enrollment at your transfer school in order for us to send the scholarship funds to that school for disbursement.
