Foothill African American Network (AAN) Scholarship for Continuing and Transfer Students

Description: These scholarships are intended for Foothill College students who demonstrate a commitment to amplifying the African Ancestry Community.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in at least 6 units at Foothill College at both the time of the scholarship deadline and disbursement of scholarship funds.
  • Must have declared major at the time of application and must not have attained a previous associate or bachelor’s degree.
  • At the time of the scholarship deadline, applicants must have completed a minimum of 12 units and have completed no more than 120 degree applicable units.
  • Applicants’ cumulative Foothill GPA must be 2.00 or higher.
  • For continuing students: Scholarship recipients must enroll in at least 6 units at Foothill for the Fall quarter of the next academic year.
  • For transfer students: Scholarship recipients must transfer from Foothill to a four-year college or university for Summer or Fall of the next academic year.

Special Instructions:
Transfer Scholarship Recipient: To receive the scholarship award, you must provide a copy of your letter of acceptance or proof of enrollment at your transfer school so that the scholarship funds can be issued.
