De Anza UndocuSTEM Scholarship

The UndocuSTEM Program will award two $500 scholarships who meet the scholarship criteria and have made a positive impact on the undocumented community. Although undocumented status is not required, undocumented students are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility requirements:
-Successful completion of at least 1 Math course and at least 1 course from the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering in academic year 2023-24
-Must be enrolled as a De Anza student in Spring 2024
-Will complete at least 36 quarter units by the end of Spring 2024.
-Be a current De Anza College student
- Must complete the General application and supplemental questions listed below.

In addition to the “My Story” essay, write an additional one-page essay, which describes
1)How has the UndocuSTEM Program helped you in reaching your academic goals?
2) How this scholarship might help you overcome any obstacles or hardships you face in reaching your educational and career goals.
3) How do you plan, in the present or future, to support and make an impact on issues facing Undocumented Students in STEM (Only Responses that are a minimum of 500 words will be considered)
