De Anza - Keith Goodin Memorial Scholarship

Keith Goodin tutored mathematics in the Educational Diagnostic Center as well as taught through the Mathematics Division. He was well regarded by his peers and respected by his students. His death left a void; therefore, a scholarship in mathematics was established to continue his memory.
*Applicant must be a student with a documented disability who has or is using EDC tutorial services at De Anza College.

*Applicant must have completed four math classes, pass for P/NP and “C” or better in graded classes. One of those classes must be Math 105 (intermediate algebra).

*Applicant must be making steady progress and not repeated any math class.

*Write an additoonal one page essay titled “Goodin” including personal or educational history related to mathematics, how you have met the challenges of mathematics, your educational goals, how the study of mathematics at De Anza College has affected you and include extra curricular activities.

*Letter of reference 1 should be from an institutional aide.

*Letter of reference 2 from a math division instructor or an EDC math instructor.
