De Anza Jung Yoon Family Nursing Scholarship Endowment

Jung Yoon, RN, MSN, is an alumna of De Anza College’s Nursing program. Jung graduated in 2002 from De Anza and went on to receive her BSN at San Francisco State and then her MSN at San Jose State University. She is now the Director of Operations at Sutter Health Medical Foundation. Jung is proud to be able to pay it forward to future nurses. She understands De Anza nursing students must be dedicated and work extremely hard to get accepted and then graduate from the program. She hopes that this scholarship will provide not only financial relief to students but the inspiration to never give up and reach their goals.

Criteria:
1. Applicant must be entering or in their 2nd year of the De Anza nursing program at the time of application.
2. Applicant’s cumulative De Anza GPA must be a 3.50 or higher
3. My Story essay should demonstrate why the applicant chose nursing and what they hope to accomplish in their career.
