Foothill Commission Transfer Scholarship

Description:
The Foothill Commission, comprised of community volunteers, is an extension of the Foothill-De Anza Foundation. The Commission’s goal is to promote Foothill College within our community and to engage in projects, activities, and fund-raising in support of the college and its students.
To apply for this award, you must be preparing to transfer from Foothill College to a four-year college or university.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. At the time of the scholarship deadline, applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 units at Foothill College.

2. At the time of the scholarship deadline, applicant must have completed at least 45 transferable units at Foothill College.

3. Applicant’s cumulative Foothill GPA must be a 3.00 or higher.

4. Applicant must be planning to transfer from Foothill College to a four-year college or university for Summer or Fall of the next academic year.

5. Applicant must be involved in doing on-campus and/or off-campus community service.

Special Instructions:
1. Community service to Foothill College and/or the community served by the college, as well as volunteer experience will play a major role in the final selection process.

2. Answers to the supplemental question will play a major role in selection of the scholarship recipients.

3. If selected as a scholarship recipient, you must provide a copy of your letter of acceptance or proof of enrollment at your transfer school in order for us to send the scholarship funds to that school for disbursement.
