Foothill Great Perseverance Scholarship
Description:
To recognize students who have overcome a great hardship, such as being the first in their family to go to college, having lived with a disability, overcoming economic hardship, having re-entered college after a period of absence, being a single parent, etc., and who have persevered academically.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Applicant must have overcome a great hardship and persevered academically.
2. Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 units at Foothill College at the time of the scholarship deadline and disbursement of scholarship funds.
3. Applicant’s cumulative Foothill GPA must be a 2.00 or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Some scholarship funds are designated for first generation college students.
